Vts idle problem.

Has anyone ever fixed the notorious vts idle prolbem? Where the revs drop really low causing the engine to hunt and protentially cut out?

Once the car has been driven and i come to a set of traffic lights 10 seconds later the revs drop really low and the engine starts hunting. Give it another 10 seconds and the revs return to normal. Somtimes when i dip the clutch it will cut out.

I have changed ICV, coolant temp, new spark plugs and lambda.

I know this is a major problem for some and they never end up fxing it.
So please only post if you have successfully fixed this problem and what with...

Im guessing it's your ecu mate most cases it's the ecu...mine was doing same but down to lambda sensor.

Hmmm. Seen that ecu changes help. Where can I get a pred and whats the benefit of the pred over standard?

They are an aftermarket ecu so ideal if you plan on modifying your engine I.e cams, turbos superchargers etc. I think luthor is the one who sells them iirc.... Not sure. You should throw some 708s on your vts and get a pred. Good power then. I need a pred but a little expensive with my current wages lol.
