   please stop trying to get your torsion bars out with a slide hammer, if they are as stuck as it would appear,pulling on a poxy weak 8mm thread isn't going to shift them, all it will result in is a broken piece of threaded adaptor/bolt/studding/whatever in the end of the torsion bar making the job even more of a night mare. What you need is this

   Those midget slide hammers are at best. Poo!
   
   Got slide hammers in work that'll pull a torsion bar out no problem. And continue to pull the car across the floor for a few foot. But them tiny things are 99.99% a waste of time!
