    hi all,

    The 106 is playing up again... well actually its had this problem from the start.

    Baisically when i fill up with fuel it will fill until i hear a 'click', i then get in the car and it only has 3/4 tank? however when the red light comes on it will come on and off for a long time before staying on, is this a sensor at fault ?

    also when it clicks do i actually have a full tank ?

    The click can happen anytime if i remember rightly mate, normally when i use my Mums X4 i pull it all the way and after a while it stops maybe to stop overfilling it at high capacity..

    The sensor might be reading it wrong or it could have a loose connection at the back of the dials?

    when the 'click' happens, the fuel does seem to overflow out of the filler neck? i shall have a look at the connections tonight when i get home ?

    Not fully sure what you mean but initially when the liight comes on, it may go off/on again a few times when driving because the fuel level changes when you corner or when you park on sloping/uneven ground.

    it can click even if you havn't put alot in due to the air in the tank has to be pushed out wich can cause it to spray out of filler neck i have to be careful not to pull it more than 1/2 way on the pump on my fezzy cause of how the neck is designed so when filling the saxo up i don't pull it any further than that and don't tend to get a problem.
