Can anyone please tell me how to safely remove the rear view mirror unit from the windscreen?
Cheers as usual

It should just slide up and off the screen holder. If you want to remove the bit that attaches to the screen as well get a cheese cutter and slide the wire behind it. Is should cut through the gunk holding it on

Sounds easy-many thanks.
The mirror casing for some unknown reason is cracked so want to replace it...wonder if they are a 'universal' fit -might take the opportunity to see if there is an upgrade!

Peugeot 106/306/406 ones should fit it I'd say.
