Rad fan buggered...slimline?

   Hi Guys,
   
   The tard who owned the car before me painted the fans and cross threaded the spindle in the process, its sheared now and theres no way i can re-thread it (Even with my tools).
   
   Stealers want £208.61!!!
   
   How are these slimline fans to fit to a standard car and do they do a proper job?
   
   Seems a cheap option at 1/10 the price. Cant drive it more than 5 mins at the mo before I get red dots on the dash, off work till its sorted!

   Slimline fans are good but make 1000000% sure that they fit your model.
   
   What model do you have, isit single fan etc

   you dont even know if it has to fit, just get a decent size after market fan and get flat head cable ties, job done.

   As tempting as that is for a temporary fix so i can get to work, I'm looking for a more suitable solution...
