How long does it take for your engine to heat up?

   How fast does it take for your engine to warm up to normal? My vtr takes about 5 min but my previous cars used to take much longer. Is this normal?

   Youl be alright for the winter then mate lol as long as it aint overheating and ur fan is coming on around half temp sounds good

   at first i thought mine was to quick! but yeah generally about 5 mins mate, no need to worry...

   About 3mins on a warm day.
   6-8mins on a cold day.
   That with the needle getting to about half way.

   mine pretty much the same.
   
   there no need to worry though as long as your fan is working

   On a cold day/night mine dont heat up more then 1/8th if that..

   if you rag it from cold, 60 seconds. Not recommended as you will fuck up your oil/engine/transmission in no time

   Always wait for the oil to get warm before giving it some stick, water temperature on the gauge isnt a true guide of this

    Wouldn't worry too much about how quicly it warms up unless it starts to over heat n the fan doesn't kick in... If that isn't happening, all good.

    Oil needs to be an ambient temperature otherwise danger

    You need to be driving for a good 20 minutes to get all the fluids upto temperature before driving hard..
