    Alright guys .

Just wondering where to get a decent priced timing belt kit and also whats the rough labour costs on fitting these?.

Got quoted 260 all in for kit fitted with tensioners and water pump? That a good or bad price?

I got mine done yesterday for £229, so your looking between £200-£300 wherever you get it done

    I charge £170 for an 8v or £270 for a 16v.

    Based near Dorking, Surrey.

got it done twice before for £120. The belt itself cost peanuts, it's more about the labour.

Halfrauds auto centre quoted me £283.00 for cambelt replacement(including tensioner)but not water pump.

I just payed £35 for the tensioners and had the belt off a mate, but they're around £30 at the factors. If I was quoted over £200 I'd change the engine.
Edit: didn't realise you were talking about labour..

    Had my 16v done yesterday:

Cambelt, water pump, tensioner, coolant and auxiliary drive belt for 278 quid. Not bad.
