#2Bolt that holds the plate up against the trailing arm will have come loose. At worst it'll have snapped, so you'll need to drill a new hole and tap a thread in it. Try tightening it first though.

#3there both in and tight bud

#4Mine started to ping over ayear ago, then started to squesk, now squeeks, knocks, rattles and pings - its dead and there is play in the arm. Gonna need sorting before MOT methinks. Yours could well be going the same way. Pick up a recon axle is best bet.

#5does it sound the same as two milk bottles banging ?

#7mine started to do this noise then noticed my back wheel was cambered like fcuk

------- > // ended up getting a new refurbed axle from IM AXLES as it was my rear beam knackered, i dont know wether you can change the pings or so in the rear beam your self if that def is the problem or not, but i wouldnt know where to start, does your back wheels camber in atall ?
ps it btw your thinking what that line is its ment to be what my wheel looked like after a few weeks after i noticed the noise, as wheel started to collapse lol -
#8ah right ill have a look tomorrow, it did it before id lowered it to be honest, only after id lowered the front though

#9I had this issue and have since sorted it
You need a 13mm socket/spanner
Unwind it, whack a load of threadlock on and a spring washer
Tighten it back in as tight as you can
If you've done it right, you will hear the noise one in ever million bumps!
Swear I've solved mine nicely doing this

#10on the arb plates mate????

#11Arb end plate bolt
When you take the wheel off you'll see it
Bolt sat around the middle of the arm
Can't miss it!
If you grab the arb plate and try move it up and down with the bolt loose you can replicate the sound!1 user thanked this post: -
#12ah right i know where it is so ill have a mooch tomorrow, thanks dolby

#13I tried it with just threadlock
But it worked loose
So I put the spring washer on, then the actual washer then the bolt with the thread covered in threadlock, and the hole threadlocked too, just for good luck
It made the noise after I had mine lowered, and I could make the same noise by movin it like how I said
Hope this helps!1 user thanked this post: -
