Sudden engine cut out

   Doe's anyone no what would cause the engine or fuel to cut out , as i was driving along 30 the rev's and speedo fell to 0 , but the strange thing is it sounded like the engine was still runing

   worth checking the fuel safety switch if you havent already.

   Is that the red button thing next to the brake fluid tank ?

   Check the earths in the engine bay & your battery connections.

   all been checked , i just find it really strange that it does it as im driving along , the last time was about 3 months ago and that was really scary on a single carrige way , the car has had a remap or chip done to the ecu but other than that there are no electrical mod's that i no of
