nocking/clonk ds strut

   i have a nocking/clonk when i am steering on the drivers side strut have change top mount and bearing tht were not in to good shape, but still dose it it coming from the top of the strut also cheacked to make sure it not a broken spring to, any ideas

   Im having the same problems, and the garage have told me its the top mount bearing, AND the drivers side CV Boot thats causing it?

   yea the garage i went to said it either top mount or bearing or a broken spring but its none of them but its defently coming from the top of the strut just getting annoyed trying to chase the problem lol if i find what caused it i will let u no mate

   same I never got round to looking at it though got other problems to fix 1st on my lovely french tin
