Camshaft seal work time.

    Hey, i believe my camshaft seal needs doing. Is there a rough time to replace this and is it just remove the rocker cover and cams?

    on an 8v engine you need to either remove head and push out cam to remove seal ,

    OR use a "hook to get inside seal to pull it out , or nmaybe a small self tapper intoi the face of seal and then pull it out,after first removing cam belt etc-fit new one + rebuild

    Ok thanks, so the easier way would be to use a hook and put new belts on.
