super charger bhp ?

   im deciding wether to go turbo or super charger but i like the idea of haveing i nice smooth power curve but at the same time i love the cheaper idea ( and noise ) of boost
   i hear that you can go to roughly 170 bhp ( 5psi ) with normal inturnals ( max )
   
   can you get more out of supercharger as its smoother?

   Super charger is smooth as it gets it depends on cams also. If you want a
   Lot of power with a smooth power delivery then get a
   Rotrex supercharger.

   Mate of mine had a charger on his vtr, sounded and went well. But he also said that the gearbox needed changing really to get most out of it. He said that once the charger got reallh spinning up you had to change gear and lost the effect untill build up again.

   I'm going back a few years but i believe and don't quote me on this but i think the VTS gearbox has a long ratio (someone will no doubt correct me).

   vtr has long ratio
   
   vts has fairly short ratio with decent top end

    There a rotrex 1goin on a certain auction site at the mo!! It's at bout £600 at the mo, not sure wat else is needed apart from stand alone ecu an map!!
