right so i bought a full scopion system 2nd hand, ... sports cat..back box..

then i go an realise the cats on my mainfold which am dumb for not doing research but hey ho it was cheap.. so anyway it was getting dark and i was at mates so i have to just whack it on.. so atm its running two cats.. and tbh the sound is no different..

so i was just wondering..

will running two cats damage anything?
tomorrow i am going to just put my standard pipes back on and just have the scorpion backbox.. will this change the sound?

won't do any harm as far as im aware, will probably sound a little quieter with just the backbox rather than whole catback system

the main dilemma is .. will having two cats make my exhaust alot quieter?

leave it on and buy a 4 branch straight through manifold to get rid of the standard cat.

will sound nice then

yeah thats what i was thinking mate, but moneys an issue until payday which is just less than a month away because ive blown all this months boooze etc..

so i think ill just standard system tomorrow with the scoprion backbox.. then soon as i can get a 4-2-1 decat..

sound like a plan?

could get a mk1 vtr manifold to decat it but then you'd havto relocate the oil filter so prob easier to get a 4-2-1 lol

just leave it on for a few weeks mate, it wont do any harm.

saves swapping exhaust for no reason.

unless you cant bare having it abit quieter haha.
