Rear license plate lights

    How do you change these? one of mine doesn't work and i've foudn where they are and how to get to them in the boot but i dont know how to get it out?

    iirc the clear plastic cover on the outside of the boot clips out

    Really? I got told a while ago you had to do it from behind the plastic in the boot...

    did it to my GFs 106 the other day. get a small flat head screw driver and pop the clear screen off the light. bulb then pops out

    must be different on all cars, on mine you have to unscrew the lens on the outside of the car then carefully with long nose pliers take bulb out and push new ones in

    I open the boot halfway, put my hand up behind, you should feel two clips either side of pinch them together whilst softly pushing forwards, it should pop straight out

    cos theres two types u have the easy 106 style ones. the other type are a c*nt to get out.
    take off boot trim then reach your hand inside the boot lid to try and unclip the light.
    or if your very very careful small screwdriver to the side of the lens to take lens off but generaly they are brittle as fuck and snap

    Thats on a mk1, but you dont need to use pliers.

    i had to use pliers to get old bulbs out, putting bulbs in was easier
