rubbing at 50/60mm with vts wheels

    My vtr is rubbing at 50/60mm with vts wheels on. I have put 5mm spacers on the front to try and cure it no joy!

    Do you think it would rub if i put vtr wheels on? Are the vts wheels a different offset this is why its happening ?

    where's it rubbing?
    are you using 195/45 tyres?

    Yeah, its rubbing on the front still on full lock.

    they always rub a tiny bit on full lock..nothing special

    My VTR had 195/45/15's when I got it.. -60mm, used to scrape on inside's on full lock, and the back bumper bracket used to scrape the tyre with people in the back..

    Changed to VTR rims 185/55/14.. didn't scrape on full lock, or with 5 people in.

    Stripped the car.. put 195/55/15's on.. and it only scrape's on the inside on full lock..

    So yeah vtr rim's will cure your scraping. It's hardly bad though, if you take wheel off.. you'll see a shiny patch where it's been rubbing.. totally smooth, so not going to rip the tyres. .

    mine rubs on full lock too, simple cure....dont full lock it

    mine is the same i just dont go full lock
