2 Problems...

Right then first problem is I've got a creeky front suspension, it creeks like I don't no what going over normal road surface? Any body had this problem before? I'm thinking it might be the top strut bearings as when I re-done my front suspension the top bearings on both sides split in half? Could this be the answer?

Second problem is I've got creeky gears, it only creeks when the engine is up to temprature, I got a grifiths quickshift on it, in the gear linkages, its also a little bit hard to get in gear when the engine is cold. Could some up rated gear linkages and grease the ball bits fix these problems?

All sugestions and experiences with these problems all listened to!

For the suspension you need to check for play in each of the suspension components and rule out each one at a time. Do this by having someone sit in the car and turn the wheel while you observe the balljoints and mounts of the car.

In response to your second question, firstly I would be looking at checking the level of your gearbox oil, or for any leaks and possibly replacing the current with a fresh batch. Apologies if you have already eliminated this.

Cheers for the comments, but the suspension creek doesn't happen when I'm not moving only when moving along at slow speeds, I think I will remove the arb and see if its changed if not then I will replace the top bearings, and the gear box I put in second hand about 2 month ago with a new clutch aswell, I also put new fluid in it at the same time, but probs worth re-checking and if that doesn't sort it I will get so brand new uprated gear linkages and fill the ball cups up with grease, cheers for the feeback though
