Speakers cutting out randomly

Hi, had a quick search but couldnt find anything similar to the problem i have. Bit of a strange one, my speakers (all of them) cut out when i go round a corner, over a speed bump or pothole. Then they'll come back on again at various times. Any idea what this could be? All 4 speakers i put in myself, could i have gone wrong somewhere? They worked fine for a month.

I had this exact issue, a friend of mine replaced all my door speakers but had put one of the speakers in wrong (positive in negative) and all the speakers would cut out randomly.

Go along and check all the speakers and you will find the problem.

Tbh sounds like you bodged them and they keep toaching metal or just about toaching, if you done them yourself you will have to pull em out and have a look. Noone is going to know what you done.

that doesnt matter, which ever way you wire them, they still work.

OP: it will be a bare wire touching metal

Or the speaker/s are to deep for the hole in the door/1/4 panel & they are earthing against the body of the car.

Is there a way of getting round this as i believe this could be the issue? the new speakers i got were alot deeper than the standards.

Build some speaker pods out of mdf mate then either cover with fabric or fibreglass over & spray them.

Or you could put some sound deadening/material behind the door speakers to stop them touching metal, and possibly checking all connections, insulation tape solves the problem, or heat wrap.
