#2Serious question... Has your engine fallen out?
A friend had this and his engine mount on the driver's side had gone and the engine dropped!1 user thanked this post: -
#3Just went outside to check and the engine seems to be in place.
-
#4maybe a build up of pressure in the master cylinder. have you checked your brak fluid level since?
-
#5was that some heavy braking? Smells like you boiled your fluid.
-
#6Wasn't heavy braking no, but I'll put it down to brake fluid then even though it is about 3/4's full, just weird how I didn't have no brakes for about a minute pedal just went straight to the floor then went back to normal.
-
#7you probably cooked it. I'd say get it changed if you haven't done that recently, that's part of the maintenance
-
#8The car was fully serviced about 5 months ago though, all fluids changed etc, but I'll change it again just to be safe.
-
#9otherwise I would have said master cinlynder but it's not possible since you had your brakes back. Weird really

#10check your pads are still in place too.
