got a vts 2002 with a Bmc and a full scorpion also a de-cat, engine management light came on 2 weeks after fittin the de-cat, heard somewhere that by fittin a manifold from somewhere like Gmc the light will go out, is this true ?
will it, won't it

#2how are the two lambda sensors fitted? are they both plumbed back into the manifold? If so thats your problem, need one of the lambda sleeves from gmc, put the second lambda in that with the battery unplugged which should clear the fault then not come back once you plug it back in again

#3is there anything you dont know!!!
what were jesuses last words?
-
#4he said to Peter "you know, this doesnt look to good for me any chance you might take some of the flack"
-
#5should go away after fitted a new manifold
-
#6huh???

#7like they say, a little bit of knowledge is a dangerous thing (and most of those people dont have a clue what they are on about)
you need a GMC lambda sleeve (about £12-15) which the second lambda fits in to (not the exhaust) and it works about 90% of the time. -
#8One lambda sensors on the manifold the other used 2 go in the cat,Already got a sleeve from Gmc for other lamda sensor, So if i disconnect the battery and take the sleeve off, then reconnect everything the light shud go out ?
Cheers for the reply's Appreciated

#9what you do if it doesn't work no that rare occurance?
-
#10Take it out and cane the life outta it lol
-
#11So if i get a manifold from gmc,I'll need another sleeve for the other sensor, also how long shud the battery be disconnected for ?
-
#12you just need to get a sleeve for the second sensor which is after the cat
-
#13I have them both plugged in, don't have any probs, had one fitted before hand and that put my light on, and that was using something similar to the gmc sleave, plugged it back in prob sortedQuote:Originally Posted by Scotthow are the two lambda sensors fitted? are they both plumbed back into the manifold?
