Vts conversion fuel pump won't prime

    Just fitted a vts into a vtr the cars. 53 plate and iv used a unlocked 3 plug ecu iv tried swapping the fuel pump relay checked the big 4 fuses next to the brake fluid reservoir checked the red button what else can it be?

    Pump was Woking fine with the vtr engine. In?

    Does the pump work when you hard wire it to the battery? I found the fuel relay pins get dirty easily spray some WD40 in them, or similar and try it

    Will try direct power there is a square light with a key symbol flashing on the dash is this because iv put an unlocked ecu on?

    did you disconnect the immobiliser before fitting ur new unlocked ecu? if you havent it will of locked ur new ecu this is why the key light is flashing and not making the fuel pump prime

    nope i didnt where is the immobiliser located? so my ecu is now locked?

    just read up how to remove it, so is that my ecu knackered now?

    no its not nackerd try it with immobiliser disconnected might of locked it out by now.if it has ul have to get it re unlocked.then pump should prime

    Anywhere local to me unlock them? And rough prices please ?

    Sounds locked, have you tried removing the imobiliser and trying it?

    If not may have to send it to bluehawk electronics.

    ryanmt used to do an unlocking service for ECU'S pm him see if he is still doing it

    Unplugged immobiliser and still nothing grrrrrr

    Checked the fuel cut off switch isnt depressed?

    Ecu will of locked most likely mate, school boy error!

    i know gutted need to find another 1 and get it sorted

    right my mate has an unlocked ecu on his 106 going to try and sort this today, i think its the fuel pump but has any1 else got any suggestions?

    It wont be the feul pump you locked out the ecu, if you tryed to start it with your vtr immo connected still it will lock it. Get it unlocked or get another one and it will be fine.
