pain in the a*se car alarm

it doesnt have a siren for some reason but continuarly flashes after 2 mins or so pausing. so annoying! any ideas how to fix or disarm?

Try and find out the make of your alarm, it might say on the keyring remote or a small sticker in the drivers window. Then do an internet search on how it works or how to disarm, or even user/instruction manual.

I bought my car with a Toad system which took me a while to work out, a few weeks later I found a lifetime garuntee and user manual when I was looking through all the bits of paper/receipts in the cars history.. Maybe worth a look, you could get lucky

the fob is standard and no stickers or anything :/

Sounds like your car is the inbred sibling of my disaterous vtr. It did this then locked me in the car while I was trying to escape. It then teased me by continually unlocking then locking itself before I could open the door.

I hated that car with a passion and this tipped me over the edge. Literally ripped the alarm out and went back to manual door locks.

hasn't locked me in the car yet, but is really starting to tick me off. i have broken my fob so unlocking it manually at the moment but everytime the ignition is turned off the hazards flash for about 5 minutes and people saying you have left your hazards on lol
Even when using the fob it still did it but only after locking it.
