i want to de-cat my MK2 VTR, as the cat is on the manifold is it possible to fit a manifold from an older saxo to de-cat it. I know the oil filters are in differant places so looking for a bit of advice.
cheers

if your going to fit a mk 1 manifold and down pipe to de cat it you will have to relocate the oil filter to the mk 1 setup.
so if your guna do all that work you may aswell spend about 50-60 quid more and buy a second hand 4 branch manifold.
they can be had for under £100.

I bought a Piper 4-1 which supposedly clears the oil filter, still had to relocate on my MK 2 so chances are its a necessity.
The Raceland MK2 specific 4-1 should fit people claim and also has holes for both lambda sensors, but i can't say from experience

you can get the mk1 downpipe to fit if you get the lambda sensor moved to the other side of the pipe (welded) because that hits the filter but i tried one on my mk2 and it fitted fine apart from that
