#2Go on the manufacturers website & see if there are any known issues or updates for the software mate.

#3Exactly the same problem here!!
Got a guy coming to sort it for me.
I know you need to tell the computer what port it's plugged into, if you find device properties in your computer settings, plug it in and you'll see. Have a play with the baud rates but it may not lead you anywhere like the problem im having. I think baud is 38somethingsomething.
There's a mod you can do to get them running better too, and even the fakes.1 user thanked this post: -
#4cheers ill have a mess with it see if I can get anything working

#5Just set the baud rate to 38400 and sorted out the com with the computer and its now working! cheers Kris

It worked then straight away, then stopped
I have to unplug the elm from the car port before it works again
Even knocking the ignition off there is still a light on it
Try and remove it, plug it back in and retry -

#13Bluetooth or usb?
Ebay jobbie?
Buy a bluetooth one if you have an android phone and download "torque" you mount the phone and it relays real time info via the obd port. You get all sorts of dials and stuff. Really worth a couple of quid. Plus you can clear codes on the road etc.
