if i was to put 60mm springs that were made for a 1.1 on my vtr would it lower it more than if i put ones on that were made for a vtr?

I've got a feeling that the spring is a different shape on vt compared to non vt, so may not fit

iirc it will fit but lower it less than 60mm

wouldnt it lower more as the vtr engine is heavier?

iirc the weight of the engine keeps it low where as a lighter engine would cause the spring to raise.

That's what I was thinking. I want a little lower than a 60 mm drop but don't want to buy coilovers

Nope, as a 1.1 is higher standard than a VT!

Ah right it makes sense now. So the lowest I'm going on springs is 60mm designed for a vtr then?

i'm lowered -60mm spax made for 1.1 models. now with the heavier engine in it sits maybe another 10mm lower

ive allways used spax 60mm but it allways looks like 50mm! i want low rider status!

i am -60mm on the front(maybe 70 now) and -100mm at the back. thats low rider

na mate thats why i just have the standard backbox because its tucked up under the bumper. i've scraped the downpipe a couple of times
