Westcoasts have rear drums yeah - i have just got rid of one.

What VTR engine you thinking, the 90 or 98bhp one? The 98bhp one has the cat in the manifold, so you would have to change the exhaust beneath the car.

You will also need to get a disc conversion on the rear (probably best with axle), new wiring loom (i think).

For the money your spending on the engine etc, best to go get a VTR mate.

I reckon for a decent engine, including wiring loom etc you are talking around £400 mark.

Then if someone was to fit, maybe a full days work - £150 maybe more. Then the disc conversion will cost a few bob and other bits. I reckon your probably looking at a rough estimate of £700 - £800. Then on top of all that, you need to tell insurance company, they charge for a conversion than a normal VTR.

Save up for a VTR, take mods with you. Best option...

No problems mate, just sounds best option to me and there isn't LOADS of power difference between the two to be honest.
