Service schedule? Also knocking suspension?

    Hi,

I was just wondering what sort of services people do on their cars? Regards mileage and extent of the service?

Also, me n/s suspension has developed what can also be described as a "sudden knock" sort of thing doesn't always happen but will mostly when turing the steering at certain points. The car is lowered 60mm but cant see this having much affect, didn't know if there were bearings in the top of the mount that may have partially siezed or something? If so can these be replaced seperately and where from?

    Cheers!

Alright calm down deep breaths. Wasnt a post aimed at you or taking you for a fool.

3 or 5k for oil and filter

spark plugs maybe every 10k or whatever.

Cam belt when the book says.

    Air filter when its needed.

Other filters and gearbox oil, brake fluid every 50k id say.

Ive not had a car that long, so do everything when I get the car.

Check the boots on the track rod end, drop links and wishbone balljoint. Check for play in the wishbone ball joint too. Check the mounts and bushes on the wishbone and the ARB mounts. Also the wheel bearing while you're there.

If all these are ok then it could be the top mount, yeh these can be bought separatley too.

Check 106Parts, although they usually buy stuff from pug dealer then sell for more on their site lol
