#2where are you located ? . . .
i failed a vts in work last week, rear axle, cat, tyres, headlights (actual headlights not bulbs) and a few small other things.
46k on the clock...
i offered to replace the axle - they went with no id rather have it rebuilt, we can only source OEM parts, its costing a fortune!
offered to sell it though for 300 quid. -
#3Depends what it has on it.
If you're talking vts, then yeah theres some money in breaking them. -
#4sorry its a vtr and im in sunny bognor regis .it has a 4 branch manifold and a aftermarket air filter although unsure of make ,if its not worth breaking then ill have to sell it whole cant br worth alot though can it
-
#5oh yeah and its gold
-
#6so do they break for much or are they not worth much in spares .or how much to fix it
-
#7Garage deemed my rear axle as damaged beyond repair on my vtr, sold it for £500 on a 03 plate. There was a load of other lil problems as well
-
#9why not just fix it? lol.
could be fixed for £200. -
#11you can get a replacement beam for £100, fit it in an hour or so.
and a brand new cat can be had for under £100.
