    yep it failed rear axle ,rear suspension and a cat .so off to find another one cant be arsed to fix it do they make good money being broken or do you sit with the parts for ages .just broke a evo 5 recentley and have quite a few bits left over

    where are you located ? . . .

    i failed a vts in work last week, rear axle, cat, tyres, headlights (actual headlights not bulbs) and a few small other things.
    46k on the clock...

    i offered to replace the axle - they went with no id rather have it rebuilt, we can only source OEM parts, its costing a fortune!

    offered to sell it though for 300 quid.

    Depends what it has on it.

    If you're talking vts, then yeah theres some money in breaking them.

    sorry its a vtr and im in sunny bognor regis .it has a 4 branch manifold and a aftermarket air filter although unsure of make ,if its not worth breaking then ill have to sell it whole cant br worth alot though can it

    so do they break for much or are they not worth much in spares .or how much to fix it

    Garage deemed my rear axle as damaged beyond repair on my vtr, sold it for £500 on a 03 plate. There was a load of other lil problems as well

    could be fixed for £200.

    your welcome to fix it ill give you 200 quid to do it ,if you get the parts aswell might chuck in a few cans of stella

    you can get a replacement beam for £100, fit it in an hour or so.

    and a brand new cat can be had for under £100.
