Dash lights have stopped working

Could it be the fuse? Specifically looking at F12 on the diagram below?

If the fuse had gone would all of those items using that fuse stop working?

My sidelamps are all working as is the dash clock, but lights on warning, dash lighting, facade lighting isn't.

    Any ideas?

depending on with version u have mk1 or mk2 could be bulb? mk1 are bulbs mk2 leds.

    It's a Mk2.

Noticed I had a brake light out and replaced it (with what I think was the wrong bulb - same shape size, but only 1 filament as opposed to 2 like the one i took out). Everytime i pressed the brakes the dash lights came on.

I then went and got another brake light bulb (exactly the same as the one i replaced) put that in. Brake light works fine.

But no dashlights or lights on warning.

i had this the other week, wiggle all the wires from the rear lights to the dash . even the ones under the carpet. (my carpet is already out so was easy for me)
it sorted my problem, whether it will solve yours i dont know

    Problem solved.

I just changed the F12 fuse.

How come some things that use that fuse (cd player, dash clock) were working when others that use that fuse weren't (dash lights)?

You'd think that they all wouldn't work if there was a problem.

Because you have a governor fuse which controls several fuses in a circuit.
