So yesterday i jet washed my car and i jet washed under the bonet aswell, includin the engine and everything else ( didnt think anything of it lol) and when i came to drive away, it was just jumping along struggling like hell! it felt like the accelorator was sticking but after about 10mins it was fine, wonder if anyone can pinpoint what the problem was?

possibly water in every connection in the engine bay and maybe worse. Good place to start is to remove all the plugs and blow then dry then use a water displacement spray like WD40 in them and re connect. Hopefully its just water in the connections. When will people listen when there told not to jet wash engines and engine bays.

Moisture in the coilpack, or leads.

tbf, the engine is designed to work with moisture, rain etc . . . but not to take it in the shower lol...
