Would this have an adverse effect if your rear brake line is perhaps a foot longer than standard? My pedal pressure is sometimes a bit rubbish so I'm just wondering this due to my routing the pipe is about 1ft longer than standard piping and the symptom is as follows: the brakes work just fine but if you sit in the car with the engine running and havent touched the brakes since startup, sometimes the pedal will allow you to depress it quite far down. Give it a few pumps and this diminishes. I've also adjusted the master cylinder bar.

#2So long as there is enough fluid in the systed it shouldnt affect.
The pedal becoming hard after u have pumpd it is normaly a sign the mc is on the way out. -
#3just the MC or the servo too? What goes in the master cylinder to cause this?Quote:So long as there is enough fluid in the systed it shouldnt affect.

Dont get me wrong there is pressure by the pedal doesnt pump up *solid* and when you run it sometimes you can press the pedal very far down sometimes -
#4The mc has rubber seals in it.
These can allow fluid past -
#5Can I just get hold of the seals or is it a sealed unit? The fluid isn't going down however
