Mileage

Is there anyway you can check mileage etc on a car before 2005 or whatever it is as the DVLA website or whatever only goes back that far, and i just want to try and find out if the mileage is genuine on my new Mango.

    Thanks for any help.

    Ant.

I have looked at the last 3 and mileage does seem to correspond but i'm just thinking something isn't quite right for the conditon of the car like... I bought it mainly for the mileage anyway like so that doesnt bother me much but like i say just seems a bit untrue, hasnt been crashed or nothin so i dunno maybe its true then

I remember on another forum some mush bought a e46, the last three mots where average milage starting atr something like 80k and going upto 9xk when he bought it..

After some digging he found the first x amount of mot;s leading upto the ones he had which added upto 13xk the year before his first at 80k.

I thaught the MOT tester would of picked up on the fact a car had lost 50k in the space of a year but appartently not??

Thats what im thinking on this i just don't think they have realised or whatever... The milage doesnt get lost, its just from one year to 2 years later or something it only did like 100-200 miles? Just seems to have spent alot of time off the road...

Some cars do, My newest car only done 200 miles in the last two years..
