    Alright lades, Just wondering, bought my self a VTR a few months back as a little project, Just wondering if i've got my self an early MK2?

    Its a 52 Plate MK2, but has Mk1 dials and Single Plug ECU.

    Says on DVLA it was first registered 31/12/1999.
    But on the V5C It says it was first registered in 2002, and was manufactured in 99'

    Tad bit confused here, Could anyone enlighten me?

    mines an early phase 2. W reg, 1 plug ecu. not looked at first registered dates tho lol

    was it ever registered originally in Ireland, gurnsey or IOM ? then came to the UK in the later date....

    Pics of engine? Seats? Dials?

    Could have sat in the dealer network for a while???

    Try looking at some of the trim (e.g ashtray) as it often has a manufactored date stamped into it!

    The dials are blue Mk1, IE none digital, and the seats are the Grey/greeny type and i havent got a piccy of the engine atm mate, its in my aunts house atm But ive got a video of it, http://www.facebook.com/video/video....50276726729900

    excuse the state of the rockercover it will get done eventually

    and nah nothing like that, like suggested prolyl sat in a dealers, but its just mad that MK1 dials Single Plug ECU, but MK2 front
