My throttle keeps sticking open if I have my foot anywhere near close to the floor. Is this a common thing to happen to vtr's? And what can I do to fix it?
Thanks for any help

Could be a few things mate. First is to check the throttle body is clean inside and the spring is well lubed up. Second is that the throttle cable could be cutting into the plastic outer casing if this is happening then replace the cable with a new one and put a few drops of chain oil / cable lube on it and job should be a good one.

Thanks mate I'll give that a go. I've been told brake cleaner is good for the inside of the throttle body. True or false?

Brake cleaner will clean out your throttle body fine mate, but make sure you don't leave any brake cleaner in the throttle body else your engine might have a wappy attack lol
