Got a little problem with the hazard switch - it lights up at night with the head lights but wont fire the hazard lights into working. If I push it in then try the indicators on the stalk nothing happens - switch it off I get indicators working on the stalk again. Its like the switch is not activating the relay as you cant hear it ticking with the hazard switch pressed.

#3looks like im saying that cocky mate but i aint lol

#4the relay works with the stalk indicators so if it works with those why not the hazard switch?
-
#5well its locking off the indicators when its pressed so its receiving that but wont activate the indicator bulbs itself. i would try the relay cos dont they control a few things? so that part of the relay may be f**ked. get a multi meter on it if you have one

#6Thing is the relay is a very simply electrical device, its either going to work or not and it works just fine on the indicators. Its as if the switch is just going to ground instead of signalling the pin on the relay so I think thats a fair guess. Does anyone have a pin out diagram so I can try a toggle switch on it to test

#7good point
sorry i couldnt help pal

#8Does the hazard switch contain its own relay?
-
#9Right got a different hazard switch in - same problem. What else could it be? The relay appears to be working on when I use the indicators just the hazard switch doesnt fire the relay off!

#10Issue resolved, the fuse was extremely corroded on the pins and was making no circuit!
-
#11glad you sorted it

#12Yeah it wasnt blown so I didnt pull it out, terminals were blue/rusty. Of all the things..
