Saxo HG Question

   Hey all,
   
   So i went to view a cheap saxo today for my kid with the intention to buy. All looked very good. When asked about the headgaskets i was told they were fixed recently.
   
   The car has done 85k miles and is a R reg.
   
   Now my question, once the head gaskets have been repaired, are they likley to go again soon or should they last for a while.
   
   Also what are the cam belts like on saxo's? after how many miles do they tend to need replacing?
   
   Never delt with saxos before so sorry is these are amature questions.

   if hg is done correctly should be fine for awhile as long as cars not ragged cant remember about cam belt best thing is to search the site mate using the search button at the top

   just found out from the search cambelt is every 60k

   H/G can go with 100miles or 100k. If they changed the H/G properly they would of done the belt there and then. Have a look at the receipts and it'll say whether it's been done of not if it has you'll be good for a few years.
