Which manifold is best?

  1. #1
As above, Supersprint 4-2-1 or Raceland 4-2-1

Also would heatwraping the manifold help?

    For a Saxo VTS.

    Thanks

The price is a good clue. The Supersprint manifold has a better flange, thicker pipework, better welds and is hand finished to improve flow.
I would not worry about heatwrapping unless you have issues with engine ancillaries getting too hot.

    Cheers mate..

What size gasket would I need for the Down pipe bit I have a Supersprint centre pipe.

    Thanks
  4. #4
The supersprint centre pipe uses a 50mm gasket. Its the fitment of the wire gasket onto the centre pipe thats the important bit.
The Supersprint manifold comes with bolts for fitting to the centre pipe as well so you dont need to buy extra

Supersprint manifolds are awesome however can be overpriced.

    Shopping around is key

I doubt anyone else other than us has them in stock as we are the sole uk Supersprint distributor for Peugeot and Citroen. Shop around and see who has not bothered to upgrade their pricing. We will price match some but it really depends on how out of date their websites are. Costs have gone up in the last 12 months and are increasing again in Jan.

The cheapest one I found was for 385 pounds plus postage.

I even rang them up to double check the price is all correct

We can price match this. Larkspeed will get a bit of a shock if they ever sell one at that price though

We are actively looking at ways we can make the supersprint manifolds cheaper. Sadly they will always be top of the price bracket because they are top of the range goods but we are trying to tailor it to the current economic climate.

Would we have to ring, before we buy so you could match the price of larkspeed?

yes. I'll have to manually change the price on the order but it should only take a couple of minutes to order. 01296 615895
