removing water pump??

   Hey,
   
   whats the easiest way to remove your water pump? I've sprayed it constantly with WD40 an left it to soak in over night, hit it with a hammer an chisel, an then eventually ive cracked it..

   When mechanic did water pump on my last vtr it took nearly an hour to get out and he ended up smashing it to pieces with chisel and hammer until eventually it twisted and came straight out.

   just keep at it with the chisel will come out eventually (probably in pieces)

   Hit it from above with a bar and hammer, also from different directions. Try to get a gap force it open, its difficult mind but it will come out. Persevere

   Air chisel the all the vibration will finally let it fall out or maybe drill them out
