lock to lock creaking

    when im driving sometimes i can hear the front end creaking and if i do lock to lock creaks. what could this be ?

    Probably the strut top bearing on its way out.

    mine does this, sounds like the rack... its been doing it for 2 years now... doesnt hurt

    mine does it from the passenger side im thinking either top mount or rod ends
