Car wont start and electrics reset

   Hi guys, I had a look on the site and couldnt find anything that really helped with this my car wont start and when I try my electrics reset ie my clock resets and my cd player loses all radio stations.
   The engine doest even crank now.
   My car has never started first time always takes two or three attempts and i cant figure out what the hell is wrong with it can anyone help

   either you have a knackered battery or a loose earth somewhere

   does the starter motor spin or is nothing happening at all?

   Its ok lads problem solved turns out it was both the starter motor and the battery got it sorted today and we now just need to sort out an annoying noise on the rear wheel somewhere and Ill be happy

   Problem started yesterday with my saxo vtr, mines keeps turning over but not starting up. im thinking my immobiliser because the light keeps on flashing but had been driving it with the light flashing but now just not starting?
