Car Jack

Was looking for a better jack than the saxo standard one. The old jack i had the thread just stripped itself and the car dropped so was maybe trying to source something a bit better?

Any ideas and something not too pricey

drive the car onto a block of wood or slab etc then most jacks will go underneath

if its just for chainging a wheel incase of a puncture then go for a 306 d turbo scissor one as they are only about 50mm thick when fully closed its what i use as my standard saxo jack wont go under mine with a flat tire...
