battery question

battery keeps dying on me within a couple of days if im not using it. can someone tell me if its one i can top up with de-ionised water if it needs it?

it doesnt state if its lead acid or calcium.

it has plugs on the top as you can see so does this mean its one i could top up?

it is a series 2 squadron energy automotive. i cant find no info on the net about it

u can top it up the battey u got they is lead acid battery must likely just as easy to replace with knew one but if it keeps dieing couple days check your alternator to see if it charging battery with a multiemeter alternator should be putting out 12 volts off top of my head

Would not bother topping it up imo, carnt u start the car and leave it to tick over once a day to u can get a new batt?

na dont want to run it as it has bad idle/ misfire atm so dont want to make things worse. going in garage tomorrow to get that checked out as iv replaced allsorts and only just now the eml has come on.
i looked in there and no liquid anywhere near top of the cells so iv topped it up and now its on charge. only gotta last a little while. i know its not the alternator, its just been sat there for past 3 months and cars only been running when iv tested things iv changed so alternator not had chance to cick in

Try testing the charging rate of your alternator 1st before throwing the battery away mate.

battery's shit anyways. been dead several times now so could still do with replacing in the end.
