spray paint never lasts it will start flaking in no time best off just getting them powercoated imo

This but they depends on how well u prep them and spray, i dont my mates cav slabs well over 18 months ago and they not flaked as yet. But getting them powercoated is about £50 - 80 a wheel.

if your only going black then diy it. yes poweder coating is the better option but if you have a budget than cans will be fine. clean em then sand them with a rough grade 1st and go up in grade untill about 1400 wet/dry so its a real nice smooth finish. primer them with grey primer(i find best with black) sand down again with 1400, another coat of primer and repeat untill again real smooth. then spray ya black coat. do about 2-3 coats with black. if you want a gloss finish then add a few coats of lacquer to it. if you want a dull matt finish just do 5-6 coats of paint and do lacquer them

EDIT: but yeah powder coat is for a better longer lasting finish
