water pump

   so before the weekend my car was starting to overheat a bit and when i put the heaters on they just blew cold air. so topped up the radiator which was empty and bled the system. later that day i noticed water running out from under the car. its coming from above the crank pulley. i take it the water pump has gone?

   dont jump straight to your water pump as the problem. your lower radiator hose is right beside the pulley, the pulley may have worn a hole in the hose, thats what happened to me. also check were the hoses go into the block at the back. could be water pump seal. you gotta cover everything first

   its not the lower hose. its not the back housing. its definatley coming from above the crank pulley and its pissing out

   Probably the rubber seal around the pump. Prepare for the pump to be a pain in the arse to get out, stick at it though

   mine was a pain to get out even with a completely stripped engine. if it doesnt come out with brute force and excessive leverage. just drill it out but then again its still in the car
