De-cat exhaust question, just to be sure..

  1. #1
Right, i have a mk2 1.1 saxo with the cat underneath the car instead of in the manifold.

I've been told that if i buy this.. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/OFFER-CITR...item20bd6f1fc5 it will swap straight in and de-cat my car. As its manifold to backbox.

Would it be an exact swap? Or would it require some work etc?
Also, it should be easy enough to swap in and out come mot time i guess?

I've had a search around but im finding it hard to piece together an exact answer from various threads.

    Thanks alot for any help.

Yes mate that's the one you need, and to answer your other question, simple to put on&off for MOT.

on that note, anyone know whether this would fit a 1.4 westie. Its the MK1 so I wonder whether the downpipe is different. I have the underfloor CAT

Yeah it won't be too good lasting though, better off trying to find something stainless steel tbh... Thats prob cheap metal so might detoriate quickish..

thats true, but for that price, you can't really complain. Even if it only does like 6 months, can't argue over £20 eh!

though I guess something like a supersprint section would be the better option in the long run
