Problem with item from seller on here?

    Was just wondering what to do if I have a problem with an item I have bought from someone on here? the reason I ask is because I bought something and received it today and its totally damaged and unusable! It could have taken some damage from postage possibly but by the looks of it, it was already damaged before postage as there is evidence of glue where its been bodged togeather. Won't mention any names yet as i'm waiting for a response from the seller but how do I go about getting my money back if at all? really dissapointed as most people seem really nice on here and this is the 1st time i've bought anything from the for sale section.     Only thing you can do id put a dispute in with Paypal. If you payed via gift though nothing you can do mate just hope for your sake that you paid as good's.

    Don't file a paypal dispute or put a thread in the scammers section YET. People are far to quick to do this even before attempting to resolve it with the seller.

    First off, wait to see what response you get from the seller before taking anymore action.

    If it was damaged in transit then you need to find out whether there was any compensation, check with the company as it will depend on the postage method.

    If you are convinced it was damaged pre post then send a polite email/message to the seller explaining the situation and see what their response it.

    Then decide where to go from there...

    It could be a genuine mistake/mixup or even damaged in transit so establish the facts before you bash peoples names in the scammer section or file any disputes.

    also in future only buy off people with good itrader (the regular sellers on here) or someone who has been reccomended more than one, like VTracer for eg.

    Think it might be getting sorted now.. was just suprised to see a bashed up piece of crap when I first opened it yano, lol
