Throttle pedal feels sticky

My throttle pedal feels quite stiff and sticky.. quite tricky doing hill starts from time to time as it feels like there's 'stages' in the throttle pedal, because of how it sticks.

Where do I spray WD-40 on the pedal? I can't seem to find where it would be sticking.

    Cheers guys

More likely a build up of shite on the throttle.

But that's what I mean - where on the pedal do I spray? I can't see anywhere from under the foot well that I can get to, so it must be grimy hinges and what not.. just not sure how to get to them, or what's grimy exactly.

Its more likely to be sticking in the engine bay at the throttle body, take the air filter off nd give it a good spray of carb cleaner, i doubt it would be sticking inside the car as its only connected to the cable by a little clip iirc unless its catching the carpet.

and make sure the throttle cable is in good nick. Could be showing signs of wear.
