Ive a lot of play in my Offside wheel bearing on the front. I assume the bearing will need pressing in so is it easier just to get a new strut?

#2I gave my local garage guy my struts and new bearings, he pressed them both in for £10.

#3the hubs themselves wobble about and I can see the drive shaft moving behind it. Before I fitted them I looked at the wheel bearings and they turned round OK - no graunching or play. What torque should the hub nut be done up to, as I'm thinking that could be that as I know the one bearing was fine before I had everything apart? Id have to be pretty severly collapsed for this amount of play (1cm of side to side movement I'd say)
