any tips?

   Just changed both wishbones drop links etc on the saxo
   
   But now its been a real pig to get the ball joint back in on the passnger side every time i try the drive shaft pops out or the hub wont line up. It's really starting to annoy me.
   
   Also I can't seems to get the adjusment nut off the passnger side track rod end as these are been done as well drives side come off easy but this is been stupid
   
   So any tips guys working on my own on the car

   After a lot of fighting I won just need get the track rod end off now then a good clean and mot on friday

   All done and mot passed but there is still a slight knock coming from drivers side front any ideas

   The knock could be ARB bush, top mount bush or ball joint and drop links are the most common causes

   They only thing i`ll add is the tracking needs to be adjusted after doing the wishbones.The knock could be coming from the strut top bearing.

   Had the tracking done after the mot as was miles out aftwr doing the track rod ends

    Good point, chances are if the mot tester missed it could either be A) only did half a job or B) top mount knocking.
    
    I have a knock on mine but i know i have a split drop link and ball joint

    a decent tester shouldnt miss a knock...
    
    if its that noticeable when driving, they should have picked it up. id argue it tbh.

    That`s the thing with my saxo for the past 2yrs it`s a had a knock described by the op & it`s passed each time with no advisories.(sorry for thread hijack)

    How low is it? Mine drop links knock on full lock and bad bumps/potholes as there standard height on a 60mm drop,
