Another rear beam question

   Having a bit of an issue with the search on here(wont load...)
   so a quick question
   will a rear beam off a mk2 gti 106 fit my phase 1 vtr?

   Ok search has started working again So as far as I can tell it will fit, but just not to use the abs brakes off the gti beam and use my vtr(non abs) ones?
   
   Before I go and fetch it could someone reassure me that thats right? thanks

   The brakes will be the same just have to remove the abs bits, also the later mk2's don't have rear bias valve (they have EBD instead) but i presume they still have the mountings for the valve,
   
   There may be more than that its what i've come across so far, i'm sure someone will add more if needed
