getting some welding done off mark1311 tomorrow if weathers good. he want me to 'drop the fuel tank' so he can do the sill/ rear drivers jacking point.
he said i dont need to disconnect it just move it out the way a bit basically.
looked in haynes and that says about taking exhaust off and unclipping the handbrake cables from the tank. haynes however is to remove the tank.
just wondering if i can leave the the exhaust on and cables just to move it away from the sill.
and just to move the tank am i right its just take the 2 nuts off that are under the tank and it moves backwards?
